Football finance analysis website Calcio e Finanza have compared the accounts of Inter after the first six months of this season compared to the previous season.
After the the first six months of the current season, the Nerazzurri had revenues of €180.1 million euros compared to the €115.7 million they had at the same stage last season, a difference of €64.4 million.
This growth is mainly down to Inter’s participation in the Champions League, the increase in sponsorship revenue the club receive through predominantly Asian based sponsorship’s and increased Serie A TV rights money.
Inter’s sponsorship revenue has jumped from €44.7 million to €60.7 million in this time frame. Serie A TV rights money has increased slightly from €64.8 million to €69.5 million. Meanwhile, €42.5 million of the increase came as a result of Inter being back in the Champions League a particularly impress sum when you consider that the club was knocked out at the group stage of the competition.
