Inter have taken to social media to thank the fans in attendance for helping celebrate the club’s 111th birthday at Sunday afternoon’s game with SPAL.

Prior to the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 triumph – with thanks to goals from Matteo Politano and Roberto Gagliardini – there was a full stadium choreography and several other events to mark the occasion.

“THANK YOU INTER FANS! Still enjoying our #1nter1st1 birthday celebrations, we’ll see you on Thursday evening at San Siro!” they posted to Instagram.
