Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will make a series of changes to the Inter line-up that started in Thursday night’s 1-0 Europa League loss to Eintracht Frankfurt for tonight’s Milan derby according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Spalletti will firstly change the formation from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-3-3.
Cedric Soares will drop out of the team and will be replaced by Kwadwo Asamoah at left back who will be part of an otherwise unchanged defensive line.
Roberto Gagliardini and Marcelo Brozovic will both come in to the midfield while Matias Vecino will retain his place from Thursday.
Gagliardini was unavailable for selection on Thursday due to Financial Fair Play restrictions while Brozovic was on the bench due to not being in top condition.
The attacking trident will consist of Matteo Politano and Ivan Perisic on the wings with Lautaro Martinez back in the line-up after suspension to lead the line.
Inter predicted line-up (4-3-3): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asamoah; Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Matias Vecino; Matteo Politano, Lautaro Martinez, Ivan Perisic.
