Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is set to make a series of changes to the Nerazzurri team that started in Sunday night’s 1-0 loss to Lazio for tomorrow night’s match against Genoa, according to a report from Sky Sport.
Spalletti will deploy his side in a 4-3-3 opposed to the 4-2-3-1 he deployed them in against Lazio.
Cedric Soares will come in for Danilo D’Ambrosio in what is expected to be the only change to the defensive line.
In midfield, Borja Valero and Matias Vecino will both drop out and they will be replaced by Roberto Gagliardini and Joao Mario, who will play either side of Marcelo Brozovic.
As confirmed by Spalletti during his pre-match press conference, Mauro Icardi will make a return to the starting eleven for the first time since February 9, the last time he played to the club prior to the recent controversy.
Predicted Inter line-up (4-3-3): Samir Handanovic; Cedric Soares, Miranda, Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asamoah; Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Joao Mario; Matteo Politano, Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic.
