Once Inter manager Luciano Spalletti guides Inter to Champions League qualification, he will meet with the club management to discuss his future at the helm according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

There is a firm assumption that securing Champions League football will be enough to see Spalletti keep his job and when you factor in the money it would take to sack him and his staff, it makes it difficult to imagine he will be sacked.

As per the Milan based newspaper, there is only one name that can undermine the future of Spalletti at the Nerazzurri and that is Antonio Conte.

The former Italian national team manager has been heavily linked with the club as well as Roma and a return to Juventus in recent weeks and months.

Conte has been out of work since leaving Chelsea last Summer and is seen as a coach who could perhaps help Inter take that next step but he would come with a salary far higher than Spalletti’s.
