Next season Inter will not need to worry about how to manage the co-existence of Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

It is looking extremely likely that Icardi’s future lies away from the Nerazzurri given the recent controversy between him and the club.

Inter wish to sell him to avoid devaluing him by sitting him on the bench but despite reported interest from Paris Saint Germain and Atletico Madrid, no formal offers have been forthcoming.

The Milan based newspaper also state that his wife and agent Wanda Nara could play a big part. She insists that her husband’s future lies at Inter but if Inter try and sell, she could flat out refuse places.

Should Inter be unable to move the 26-year-old on this Summer, they could find themselves with a difficult situation as Lautaro Martinez is unlikely to accept a bit part role next year. For the time being though, Inter need to make the most of the two Argentine’s to try and secure Champions League football again.
