Ahead of tomorrow’s match with Udinese, Luciano Spalletti has spoken with Inter TV and firstly spoken on the growth of the team in the past year.
“In my opinion, compared to a year ago, the team has changed, we have more balance and we recognise the kind of attitude we need to have in the game,” he began.
He then spoke on the fact a lot of teams, including Inter have a lot less points this year but seem closer bunched together.
“I don’t know if having fewer points but being higher up the table compared to last year is something to be happy with, but in this league there are greater balances, reinforced teams and therefore the gaps are shorter.
“With four days to go until the end of the season, facing the teams fighting not to be relegated has the same value as a direct fight with a team at the top end of the table. In fact, the motivations and difficulties become great as it becomes a more complicated game.”
He concluded by speaking on Saturday’s opponents, who he was once in charge of.
“Tudor’s Udinese attack you and are always seeking victory. They do not have a defensive mindset and are designed to attack. I know the club well and I know Tudor too.”
