Whilst appearing as a guest in the Sky Sport studios journalist Andrea Paventi spoke on several Inter related topics.
Firstly he spoke on the future of manager Luciano Spalletti.
“The Nerazzurri club have been thinking about the season for some time. In this time Spalletti’s stock as manager has risen,” he said.
Paventi then spoke on Inter being at work on reinforcing the defence.
“Godin has already been signed and will be announced in June. Danilo is the main goal for full back. Inter have already made a €15 million offer to city and proposed a slightly lower salary to the player but a longer contract length.
“We will need to see if Inter can convince the English club with their offer. Everything relating to this should be defined between now and June.”
He concluded: “Inter will also need to make one or two signings in the midfield whilst signings for the attack will depend on what happens with Icardi.”
