Report Claims Inter & Juventus Hold Icardi Talks In London

Inter and Juventus have held talks over Mauro Icardi according to a report from Corriere Torino.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio met with Juventus director Fabio Paratici to discuss the Argentine in London whilst in the English capital during the week to watch Tottenham Hotspur take on Ajax in the Champions League.

As per the report, there will be no swap deal, at least involving Paulo Dybala and the Bianconeri are prepared to pay for Icardi, whose future at the Nerazzurri is reportedly in serious doubt.

Inter made it clear that they value the 26-year-old at €80 million whilst Juventus are so far willing to offer Inter €60 million to take the troubled forward of their hands.

Icardi has made 33 appearances across all competitions for Inter this season, during which he lost the Inter captaincy. In just shy of 3000 minutes on the field, the former Sampdoria forward has netted 16 goals and provided five assists for teammates.
