Former Inter boss Jose Mourinho is not a managerial target for Roma despite reports linking the Giallorossi to the Special One in France.
Mourinho remains out of work after being sacked by Manchester United in December and is keen to return to action for the start of next season.
However, Sky Sport have dismissed reports Roma are courting him and reiterated that Antonio Conte is the club’s first choice.
Conte has taken some time to reflect on Roma’s offer after meeting with club representatives earlier in the week, and the Italian is seemingly not in a hurry to take a final decision.
Inter remain interested in the former Juventus and Italy coach but have yet to make as clear an approach as the Giallorossi, with owners Suning undecided on whether to dismiss Luciano Spalletti.
The Nerazzurri will all but secure Champions League qualification for the following season if they beat Udinese at the Dacia Arena this evening.
