Stefan de Vrij has shared his disappointment following Inter’s goalless draw away in Udine against a lowly Udinese side.
“We tried to score, we had opportunities, even I had one, but unfortunately we were unable to score. We are sorry for the result as we wanted to win,” he began an interview with Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV.
“We did not underestimate Udinese as we knew that it was not easy to come and play here against a team that defends well. They were good on the attack too.
The Dutch central defender concluded by speaking on the next game against Chievo Verona.
“They have nothing left to lose and because of this they will play with freedom. We must be ready and not let them play the game of their lives. Our final three games will be very important, we will try to win all three of the games.”
