Garlando: “Inter Is Historically Trained For Doomsday, They Are At Risk Of A Painful Paradox”

Journalist Luigi Garlando has previewed Inter’s match at home to Empoli tonight as part of his column for Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Inter is a club historically trained for doomsday,” he began.

“Spalletti is sitting with his empty skin in hand, like San Bartolomeo dell fresco of the Sistine Chapel: his role will soon be filled by Conte.

“Inter are at risk of a painful paradox having exited the settlement agreement, having approached a top manager like Conte but not being able to play in the Champions League.

He concluded his column: “Perisic and Icardi will have to glue the shards of the locker room back together in a hurry to save the season with a final performance to match.”
