Danilo D’Ambrosio’s agent Fabio Pisacane has revealed that he believes he will soon be holding talks with Inter over a new contract for his client.
Firstly however he spoke on Inter’s season finale with Empoli.
“He was very excited, but also shaken because it was a very tight game. He told me he had lost 10 years off of his life. It was a tough game against a team who play good football,” he told FCInter1908.it.
“For Inter, being in the Champions League should be a normality and it would have been a shame if they had not qualified.
“After the game someone in the media described his save as an ‘almost own goal’ but I found this rather embarrassing for what was him anticipating two opponents who were behind him.”
He then proceeded to talk further about the media, specifically their treatment of their client.
“These things tend to bother me more than they do him. I feel he is underestimated by some journalists but coaches and the management have always considered him and that is what counts.”
Pisacane then spoke on his client’s attitude.
“For him it is normal to play high-level games, as he has chosen to wear a glorious shirt like that of Inter. He gives 100% at any time because he is also like that in life: he puts everything he has in what he does.
“He has been at Inter for years and has always tried to make his contribution. He is a great professional and this is also recognised by his teammates. His attitude on and off the field led him to be so important in the dressing room.”
He then spoke on media speculation that continually sees new full backs linked to Inter.
“By now it’s normal and we don’t notice it anymore, he showed that he can be an important player for Inter and will continue to do so as long as he remains in the Nerazzurri.”
He concluded the interview by speaking on the possibility of a renewal.
“It’s always important when the company pays for your efforts and shows that they trust you. We will surely talk about it soon with the director.”
