Zhang & Conte Could Meet For First Time This Weekend As Inter Officials Attend Final

Inter owner Jindong Zhang could be part of the Inter delegation who will take in this weekend’s Champions League final in Madrid according to a report from Sky Sport.

If he is to attend, it will give him an opportunity to meet incoming manager Antonio Conte ahead of the planned customary meeting that managers have in Nanjing, China, wherein they visit Suning’s headquarters to meet the club owners and hold talks.

Conte is reportedly imminently going to be officially named as the next Inter manager following the sacking of Luciano Spalletti earlier on today.

The former manager of the Italian national team has agreed terms over a three year contract with the San Siro club as per various reports with it understood that he will be earning a sum of €9 million per season, at least.

Conte last managed Chelsea who he left last Summer. In his two years with the Premier League side he won a Premier League and FA Cup.
