Antonio Conte Will Be Reunited With Several Friendly Faces At Inter

Antonio Conte is due to be reunited with several friends from his managerial past when he begins work as Inter’s head coach in July.

Conte’s arrival in Milan has been viewed as controversial by some onlookers, suggesting his Juventus past could cause problems with the club’s supporters.

Tuttosport attempted to flip the debate on its head today, though, listing all the players and directors at the club who will be more than happy to see him again.

Conte will be reunited with Beppe Marotta following their three years together in Turin, telling GQ Magazine this week the 62-year-old was one of the reasons he accepted Inter’s offer.

Dario Baccin, meanwhile, worked for Juventus’ youth academy while Conte was a player in the 1990s, while Gabriele Oriali enjoyed two successful years with him in charge of the Italian national team.

Antonio Candreva, Andrea Ranocchia and Daniele Padelli all saw their international careers improve while Conte was coach between 2014-16, with Ranocchia also making his professional breakthrough under his guidance at Arezzo.

And Kwadwo Asamoah is also due to play under Conte for a second time, having spent two seasons with him in Turin.
