Torino are preparing themselves to make a move for Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini in the Summer transfer window according to a report from Tuttosport.
The Granata are still awaiting to see whether they will participate in the Europa League next season but are not letting that slow them down as they have identified a series of targets, including 25-year-old Gagliardini, to strengthen Walter Mazzari’s squad ahead of the new season.
During the 2018/19 season, the Italian international was limited to just 21 appearances across all competitions. In 1220 minutes on the field, he scored five goals, four of which came across Inter’s matches with Genoa with the other coming against SPAL.
Former Atalanta player Gagliardini joined Inter back in January 2017 and is contracted to the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The report from the Turin based news outlet also reports that Torino are interested in signing Napoli defender Mario Rui and attacker Simone Verdi.
