Inter are one of three Italian clubs pondering a move for Torino’s highly-rated young centre-back Kevin Bonifazi, according to Tuttosport.
Bonifazi, who turned 23 in May, has spent the last two of the last three seasons on loan at SPAL, making 27 league appearances and scoring twice in the 2018-19 campaign.
Torino boast a ‘counter-option’ on the defender should SPAL decide to purchase him permanently, but Urbano Cairo may choose to put him back on the market if he brings him back to the Granata.
Inter, Milan and Roma are all reportedly following Bonifazi if he becomes available to other clubs, with Torino unlikely to keep him next season.
SPAL are said to be ‘optimistic’ about securing their target once again for the next campaign but the final decision will not be for them to make.
Torino would make a healthy profit on Bonifazi should they sell him for more than €10 million this summer.
