Inter remain hopeful they can convince Juventus forward Paulo Dybala to join the club in a swap deal with Mauro Icardi, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Dybala told reporters recently he was happy in Turin despite interest from Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 25-year-old has not closed the door on a move to Inter, though, amid reports he would not be enthusiastic about joining the Nerazzurri.
“Would Paulo change his mind if Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio started pressing him hard and Antonio Conte got involved as well?” the Rome-based paper asked this morning.
“At the moment we don’t have a certain answer, but most of all we don’t have a completely negative answer. That’s already a good sign for Inter.
“What somebody thinks at the start of June isn’t necessarily what they’ll think at the start of July.”
Juventus want Icardi to start up front in their 4-3-3 system next season but have not yet opened to the idea of including Dybala in a swap deal.
The Bianconeri would also need to be persuaded to change their minds if Inter were to pull off the transfer they are hoping for.
