Juventus have joined Inter in the race to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United, according to Sky Sport.
Inter remain ahead because they have gone significantly further in their talks with the player, who gave his word to the Nerazzurri several weeks ago.
However, the Old Lady are interested as well and will attempt to beat their former boss Antonio Conte to signing the striker.
Lukaku is on tour with United in Australia this week but he is widely thought to want to leave for Serie A.
Sky also addressed Mauro Icardi’s future tonight but assured there were no significant updates concerning Inter’s former captain.
Maurito wants to stay at the club after starting preseason training under Conte today, despite interest from Juventus and Napoli.
Neither has managed to convince the striker to soften his hard-line stance thus far, making it ever more likely he will remain for another season.
Inter are no closer to signing Edin Dzeko from Roma, either, with the clubs still a long way apart on their valuations for the Bosnian.
