Inter supporters will enjoy watching their team play football with Antonio Conte as head coach, according to Sassuolo’s chief executive Giovanni Carnevali.
Conte began preseason training with the Nerazzurri this morning and will take charge of his first friendly match against Lugano on Sunday.
Carnevali is confident the former Chelsea boss and Beppe Marotta will bring a smile back to Interisti’s faces this season.
“They’ll give something more to Inter,” he told Rai’s radio station Gr Parlamento today.
“I think the Nerazzurri will be able to do good things this season, although they will need a bit of time.”
Carnevali also backed Stefano Sensi to follow in the footsteps of Matteo Politano, having joined on loan with an option to buy last week.
“He’s a player with an important skill set who is ready for a big club,” Carnevali added.
“Sensi is in the national team set up and he’s getting better year after year. He had various offers this summer.”
