Joao Miranda took to social media on Monday to express his delight at Brazil’s triumph in the Copa America.
The defender was an unused substitute at the weekend as the Selecao recorded a 3-1 win over Peru at the Estadio do Maracana.
Miranda has one year left on his contract with Inter but he is widely expected to leave the club this summer.
“I’m grateful to God for another title in my career,” the 34-year-old wrote on Instagram.
“It’s an indescribable feeling to win the Copa America in one of the most legendary stadiums in the world. I’m very happy I can offer the people of Brazil this joy.”
