Radja Nainggolan is disappointed to have been discarded by Inter and could move abroad this summer, the midfielder’s sister has claimed.
Beppe Marotta confirmed the Belgian was not part of the club’s plans for this season on Sunday, although it remains to be seen how many offers Inter will receive.
Nainggolan’s sister Riana said he was ‘not very happy’ about Marotta’s comments and admitted he could leave Milan before the new Serie A campaign begins.
“There is no club in the lead to sign him at the moment,” Riana was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.
“We’re very close but he has not even told me where he would like to go. He could be tempted by an offer from abroad.”
Nainggolan began preseason training under Antonio Conte on Monday but neither him nor Mauro Icardi are expected to stay.
Conte will take charge of Inter’s first friendly against Lugano at the weekend but the Ninja will be excluded from the match.
