Romelu Lukaku sparked excitement among Inter supporters last night by suggesting his future would be resolved soon.

The forward tweeted a picture of himself alongside agent Federico Pastorello, who has been mediating between the Nerazzurri and Manchester United during talks.

Lukaku remains Antonio Conte’s first choice up front for Inter and the Belgian appeared to suggest good news was on the way.

“Soon to be continued,” the 26-year-old said cryptically.

Juventus were also linked with a move for Lukaku this week, with reports suggesting they had offered United a swap deal with Paulo Dybala.
