Edin Dzeko is growing impatient and is hopeful that he will not need to wait beyond the end of next week to find out if he will be joining Inter or not according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The Bosnian striker is one of Inter’s top targets to reinforce the attack but the Nerazzurri have so far struggled to break down the resistance put up by the Giallorossi.
Roma continue to demand €20 million for the 33-year-old, this despite him having just a year left to run on his contract in the Italian capital whilst it has been reported that Inter’s offer falls at least a few million short.
The report from the Rome based news outlet does however go on to state that the idea of Dzeko remaining in Rome to see out the remainder of his contract is no longer so impossible.
Dzeko has been with the Stadio Olimpico club since 2016 and has scored 87 goals in 179 appearances across all competitions.
