Inter’s academy defender Lorenzo Pirola was all smiles on social media after the Nerazzurri’s preseason win against Tottenham.

Antonio Conte’s side ended their International Champions Cup campaign on a high, prevailing 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Pirola played the final 16 minutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, replacing Milan Skriniar for another first-team cameo.

The centre-back posted some action shots from the game on Instagram, using the hashtag ‘amala’ and saying: “Another great match!”
