Dalbert will undergo a medical with Fiorentina tomorrow after accepting a loan move from Inter, according to Sky Sport.

The Brazilian was reluctant to join the Viola initially after coming close to returning to Nice, where he made his breakthrough in European football.

But he has now decided to sign for Vincenzo Montella’s side and will take a very significant step towards completing the deal on Wednesday.

Dalbert’s medical means Inter should now also be free to finalise the arrival of Cristiano Biraghi, who will rejoin the Nerazzurri after five years away.

Both Dalbert and Biraghi were left out of their clubs’ first matches of the new Serie A season, most likely as a precaution in order to avoid injuries.

Inter can now concentrate their attention more on agreeing a loan deal with Manchester United for Alexis Sanchez, with talks having dragged on far longer than the club initially expected.
