Nicolò Barella was pleased with how he fared on his Inter debut on Monday as the Nerazzurri beat Lecce 4-0 at San Siro.
Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Candreva were all on target for Antonio Conte’s side as they got their Serie A campaign off to the best possible start.
Sensi was preferred to Barella in the starting XI but the former Cagliari midfielder replaced Matias Vecino for the final 25 minutes.
Using Inter’s black-and-blue emojis, Barella wrote on Instagram: “Good first match!”
