Inter’s Champions League schedule has ensured September and December will be demanding parts of the season for the Nerazzurri.
Antonio Conte’s side will make their debut in Group F at home to Slavia Prague, a handful of days before they play AC Milan in the first derby of the season.
But their second match, away to Barcelona at the Camp Nou, falls at an even less convenient moment, between a tough away match against Sampdoria and the Derby d’Italia against Juventus at San Siro.
Inter’s next three fixtures, which will see them face Borussia Dortmund twice and Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic, do not clash with any big matches in Serie A.
Their last match at home to Barca, though, will be sandwiched between a game against Roma at San Siro and a trip to play Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
