Alexis Sanchez Could Make First Inter Start Against Udinese

Alexis Sanchez could start his first match for Inter in this weekend’s match at home to Udinese according to a report from Tuttosport.

The Chilean returned from international duty yesterday and was involved in the double training session held yesterday.

Sanchez is up against Matteo Politano for the starting berth alongside Romelu Lukaku and Inter manager Antonio Conte will make his decision on who will be starting Saturday evening’s match on Friday.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that it has come down to both Sanchez and Politano to start due to how late Lautaro Martinez will return from international duty.

The Argentine forward is due to play in tonight’s friendly against Mexico and will not be back in Italy until Thursday. He is more than likely going to be rested for the match against the Bianconeri with a view to then starting Inter’s Champions League opener against Slavia Prague.
