Ionut Radu represents the future of the goalkeeping position for Inter according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 22-year-old rejoined Inter on a permanent basis over the Summer transfer window having impressed for Genoa, who had purchased him outright the previous Summer.

Samir Handanovic is Inter’s undoubted number one for the time being which meant Radu rejoined Genoa on loan for this season but in the years to come, the goalkeeping position will be the Romanian youth international’s.

The Milan based news outlet believe that Radu’s loan return to Genoa will only bring out the best in him as the Rossoblu are a team who play without fear and his performances so far show this.

Radu is under contract with Inter for the long-term and has made three appearances across all competitions for Genoa this season although he has been unable to keep a clean sheet so far.
