Mauro Icardi could be handed his Paris Saint Germain debut this weekend against Strasbourg according to a report from Milan based news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.
It remains to be seen whether or not the Argentine, who joined on transfer deadline day from Inter, will start the match or come on as a substitute.
Although still not physically at his best due to not having a pre-season whatsoever, Icardi has been training exactly the same as his new teammates since Tuesday.
Former Barcelona academy player Icardi appears to have settled in nicely with the Ligue 1 outfit as evidenced by his increased social media activity, particularly on Instagram, with posts coming almost daily from him as he documents his early days in the French capital.
The 26-year-old joined PSG on a season long loan with them having an option to buy for a reported €65 million at the end of this season.
