It’s not only Alexis Sanchez that will face his former side tonight against Udinese, as detailed by the official Inter website, but also four other players who also featured for the Friuliani.
Antonio Candreva’s topflight debut in the 2007/08 season was with Udinese, although the 32-year-old only made three appearances that season for the club and failed to score for them.
30-year-old Kwadwo Asamoah also made his topflight debut with the Friuliani, spending four seasons with the club and making 114 league appearances for the Udine based club, scoring eight goals in that time.
Then there is the Inter captain Samir Handanovic, who spent six seasons with the club before moving to the Nerazzurri. The 35-year-old Slovenian goalkeeper made 212 appearances in total for the Bianconeri, keeping 71 clean sheets in the process.
Finally, the Nerazzurri’s second goalkeeper Daniele Padelli made nine appearances for Udinese over two seasons before moving to Torino and eventually Inter.
