Mario Sconcerti has praised Antonio Conte’s Inter for taking advantage of their kind schedule at the start of the 2019/20 Serie A season.

Inter are top of the Serie A table having won all three of their league matches to date and dependent on Torino’s result tonight, could have as much as a two point gap on second place.

“What can be taken away from the current standings? There are two things. Inter have made good use of their schedule and the obvious difficult of Juventus,” he wrote in his weekly editorial for Milan based news outlet Corriere della Sera.

As part of his column, Sconcerti also took a look ahead to this coming weekend’s Derby della Madonnina.

“The derby will be Inter’s first big opponent of the season . Inter has more quality than Milan and although not at their best, it remains to be seen how much margin of improvement there is.”
