Inter and AC Milan will participate in a public assembly next week in which they will explain the project that they have for their proposed new stadium according to a report from the Milanese edition of La Repubblica.
The two clubs accepted an invitation from the president of the Zone 7 Council, Marco Bestetti, with the assembly to take place next Tuesday at 18:30 local time at the local council building on via Anselmo da Baggio.
This meeting will represent the first time that the two clubs will meet with the public who live around the area where the stadium will be built, who have raised concerns about the disruption the presumed 3-4 year construction would cause.
The clubs will explain to those present why they never went ahead with the idea of renovating their current San Siro home and decided to go down the route of a new state-of-the-art stadium.
The clubs will also explain plans for the area around the ground which will involve the construction of hotels and restaurants among other things.
