Stefano Sensi has taken to social media to mourn the loss and pay his respects to the late Sassuolo president and owner Giorgio Squinzi, after he passed away following a long battle with illness.

“I can only say thank you because you made me feel part of your family! Rest in peace to a great man who, with your passion, made an entire city dream! Thank you,” Sensi, who is currently on loan Inter from the Neroverdi, captioned an image of Squinzi which he posted to Instagram.
