Inter legend Sandro Mazzola has shared his thoughts on the progress that Inter have made during Antonio Conte’s short spell in charge of the club so far.

“Me saying that Antonio Conte is a Juventino and that he cannot change that was just a joke. There is still some work to do but it is already a different Inter than in years past under him.

“There are still some things needing sorted but it all depends on whether he can convince the players about his methods,” he said in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web Radio.

Mazzola, who spent his entire 17 year playing career at Inter, then shared his thoughts on Inter’s club record transfer signing Romelu Lukaku, who has struggled in recent weeks.

“He started well and I like him but I do not know if his recent problems are because of the pressure. I would have made peace with Mauro Icardi if I were Inter.”
