Journalist Claims Inter’s Alexis Sanchez Will Be Out For 2/3 Months Through Injury

BBC journalist Simon Stone has claimed that Inter attacker faces two to three months out on the sidelines after sustaining an injury on international duty.

The 30-year-old Chilean, who joined Inter on a season-long loan from Premier League club Manchester United during the Summer transfer window, sustained an injury to his ankle during the goalless friendly against Colombia and his condition is due to be tested today or tomorrow as per reports in the media.

“Alexis Sanchez out for two/three months. Injured on international duty,” Stone posted to his official Twitter account.

In a follow-up tweet he added: “Sanchez flying back to Europe. Inter will do their own tests and decide – in conjunction with Man Utd – best way forward.”
