Danilo D’Ambrosio Set To Miss Inter’s Next 3 Games

Danilo D’Ambrosio will be sidelined for approximately three games as a result of his broken toe, according to a report in today’s paper edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Inter defender sustained the injury during Italy’s 2-0 EURO 2020 qualifier win over Greece but proceeded to play through the pain.

Inter’s medical staff examined the 31-year-old yesterday and confirmed his broken toe although they gave no timeline for return and simply stated that they would re-examine the conditions of the former Torino player at a later date.

D’Ambrosio, as per the Milan based news outlet’s report, will miss the Nerazzurri’s upcoming games with Sassuolo, Borussia Dortmund and Parma and could return for the mid-week fixture against Brescia on Tuesday 29 October.

He has been near ever present in Inter manager Antonio Conte’s side this season appearing in eight of Inter’s nine games across all competitions so far. In 592 minutes on the park, he has contributed one goal.
