Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has taken to social media to celebrate his first appearance for Brazil in over three years in the 1-1 draw with Nigeria.
The Inter owned striker, who is currently on loan at Brazilian Serie A outfit Flamengo, came off the bench and replaced Liverpool superstar Roberto Firmino for the final 28 minutes of the international friendly that was played at the Singapore National Stadium.
It was the 23-year-old’s first appearance for the Brazilian national team since June 2013, when he played for them during the Copa America.
“Very happy to wear the shirt of the national team again,” he posted to social media platform Twitter as a caption to the moment he was substituted on.
Muito feliz em voltar a usar a camisa da nossa Seleção..
