Stefano Sensi’s condition has shown signs of improvement over the international break, so much so that he could make the bench for Inter’s match against Sassuolo this weekend according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.
The midfielder sustained an injury to the adductor muscles in his right thigh during the 2-1 Derby D’Italia defeat to Juventus which forced him to withdraw from the Italian national team.
It was initially thought that Sensi would be missing the reunion with his former club but it would now appear that there is a chance that he could play, even if only for a little while off the substitutes bench.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that he should be completely available for Inter’s game after Sassuolo which is a Champions League group stage encounter with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
Sensi has been a real surprise story for Inter having contributed three goals and four assists in nine appearances across all competitions.
