Matteo Politano left Signal Iduna Park on crutches following Inter’s 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Italian came off the bench with just under 20 minutes to go and received a sore one from Dortmund defender Nico Schulz soon after coming on.

Despite visibly struggling to move around on the pitch after the injury, the 26-year-old remained on the field to try and help his team find a leveller late on.
