Inter have confirmed that attacker Matteo Politano is to face at least a few weeks out on the sidelines after tests confirmed an injury to his ankle.
The club’s medical staff conducted tests on the 26-year-old Italian between yesterday and today and they showed he has suffered a sprain to his left ankle. Politano’s condition will be re-assessed over the coming weeks.
Politano has made 12 appearances across all competitions this season for the Nerazzurri but has been unable to make any goal contributions.
