Inter defender Stefan de Vrij posted a photo on Instagram yesterday condemning the recent events of racism within European football.

The 27-year-old Dutch defender’s teammate, Romelu Lukaku, was one such victim of a racist incident. The 26-year-old Belgian striker was subjected to racist chants from a section of the Cagliari fans in the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 win over the Sardinian side at the start of September, and as such has seen the problem firsthand.

De Vrij posted a photo of a circle of people holding hands alongside the caption: “Enough Is Enough!! Stop Racism.”
