Inter sent their best wishes to Genoa striker Christian Kouamé, who tore his front left cruciate ligament on international duty with the Ivory Coast. The 21-year-old forward underwent a knee operation on Monday.
The Nerazzurri are reportedly interested in the 21-year-old striker, although his six-month recovery time may cool down the thoughts from the club. Whilst it’s unlikely that Kouamé will appear for Genoa again this season, there is a chance he could play the last few games of the season.
Inter wrote on Twitter: “FORZA! Good luck, Kouame, you’ll be back on the field stronger than ever before.”
