Former Inter defender Marco Materazzi showed his support for the anti-domestic violence movement WeWorld Onlus.
The 46-year-old Italian, who spent ten years with the Nerazzurri between 2001 to 2011, posted a photo of himself with the distinctive red line of the ‘a red to violence’ movement, used to highlight the importance of combating domestic violence against women.
Materazzi made 276 appearances for Inter across his ten-year spell at the club.
He posted the photo alongside the caption: “One in every three women has been subjected to violence at least once in their lives. We must give a signal: we all give #aredtoviolence Join SerieA and WeWorld Onlus.”
