Milan Skriniar has admitted to being well aware that things will not be easy for Inter when they face Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Inter head into the game knowing they must win in order to keep their chances of progression to the knockout stages alive but Skriniar believes that he and his teammates can make it through.
“In Prague we must think about taking all three points, but it will not be easy. We have seen that Slavia plays very well. They know how to defend and have also shown that they can do good things,” he remarked in an interview with Slovak news agency Sita.
“If we were to win, then we could re-launch ourselves in terms of qualification and I believe that in the end we will make it through.”
He also touched upon the disappointing collapse in the 3-2 loss away to Borussia Dortmund.
“We analysed that game in every detail. We were wrong and we are aware of it, but we still have a chance to progress and we have to believe that in the end everything will work out.”
