Juventus remain extremely interested in making a move for Inter striker Mauro Icardi according to a report in today’s print edition of Il Giorno.
Despite Icardi currently being out on loan at Paris Saint Germain, who have an option to sign him permanently for €70 million, the Bianconeri are refusing to give up on the idea of signing the Argentine striker.
The report goes on to state that the Turin club are ready to offer the 26-year-old a five year deal with an annual salary of €10 million.
It also states that Inter would demand far more than €70 million from their arch-rivals in the event that PSG do not take up their purchase option on Icardi.
Since joining the French capital club on transfer deadline day of the Summer window, Icardi has been in fine form. He has scored 10 goals in 11 appearances across all competitions, including four in four Champions League games.
