Inter Will Postpone Any Move For Chiesa Until The Summer

Inter remain interested in Federico Chiesa but it is highly unlikely that they will manage to find the money to sign him in January according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Friction between Chiesa and his current employers Fiorentina is believed to be growing due to La Viola’s failure to give him a new contract among other things.

Fiorentina are believed to want €70 million for the Italian international winger, a sum Inter cannot afford at this stage of the season.

For this reason, Inter will postpone any assault for the 22-year-old until June and they need not worry about losing him to arch-rivals Juventus.

As per the report, Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso does not wish to deal Chiesa to Juventus but the report does warn that Chiesa’s family have already promised Chiesa to the Bianconeri.

This season Chiesa has made 13 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored three goals and tallied four assists.
