According to a report from noted Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have set an asking price of between €20-25 million for striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa.
Inter had previously accepted a €16 million offer from Flamengo which also entitled them to 20% of any future resale but that deal fell through as Flamengo failed to give certainties when it came to how they would finance the deal.
Off the back of his glistening performances whilst on loan at the Rubronegro club, Inter have upped their asking price, something Flamengo will of course have to meet if they wish to keep a hold of the 23-year-old striker past the expiration of his loan deal at the end of December.
As per other reports in the media, Flamengo are far from being alone when it comes to being interested in the former Santos star.
Premier League pair Crystal Palace and West Ham United have both been linked with him as have Spanish outfit Real Valadolid, who are owned by former Inter striker Ronaldo.
