Inter Confirm Nicolo Barella’s Operation Has Been A ‘Perfect Success’

Inter have confirmed that midfielder Nicolo Barella has underwent surgery on his knee earlier today and that the surgery was a ‘perfect success’.

The Italian international sustained the injury during the 3-0 win over Torino at the weekend and will be a big miss to the side whilst out recovering.

“Nicolo Barella was admitted to the Humanitas Research Hospital in Rozzano this morning for keyhole surgery on his right knee, the operation being carried out in order to remove the cartilage fragment from his kneecap,” the statement posted to the club website reads.

“The operation was a perfect success and the player will begin rehabilitation treatment in the coming days.”
